|May 16, 2025
A MAN suffering from schizophrenia repeatedly stabbed his neighbour in the chest and arm with a screwdriver.
-
Isaac Douglas, 56, called to ask his neighbour on Thorntree Court in Thornaby for help on September 24, 2022. He said that his electricity box "had gone off."
But when his neighbour came round to have a look, Douglas repeatedly stabbed him with a screwdriver.
The victim was able to run back to his own home and call for an ambulance. The man had two stab wounds to his chest and superficial wounds to his arm.
