Jealous lover brutally attacked partner after he monitored her phone

A VIOLENT thug who monitored his then-partner’s phone and spat at her while on holiday in Benidorm brutally attacked her in her own home after they returned to the UK.
Craig Walker, 40, has been locked up for the violent attack on his girlfriend which saw him repeatedly kick her as she lay on the ground. The woman said she was struggling to breath and thought she was going to die during the attack.
Paul Newcombe, prosecuting, said Walker admitted engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour with his former partner on the basis that he spat at the woman, broke her phone and monitored her social media and her contacts while on holiday. He also admitted section 20 wounding without intent after they returned home to Teesside.
