Former cabinet member is up for comeback in ward

A FORMER council cabinet member is attempting a comeback in the ward she previously represented.

Alison Barnes confirmed on Facebook she would be standing as a candidate for the Liberal Democrats in Zetland ward in Redcar.
Mrs Barnes was prominent in the independent/ Liberal Democrat administration that was in control of Redcar and Cleveland Council between 2019 and 2023.
