MIDDLESBROUGH boss Rob Edwards says big post-match celebrations should not be mistaken for getting carried away - as he explained the important next step after his commonly-seen passionate outbursts.

With four wins from four league games so far for the new Boro boss, his impassioned celebrations with supporters have become a common thing this season. Laps of the Riverside with joyous scenes, or celebrations in front of sold-out away ends have become commonplace after Boro games.

Such scenes will likely divide opinion, with similar scenarios at other clubs drawing criticism from certain pundits and supporters for what's deemed ‘over-celebrating; ‘getting too high’ or ‘getting carried away’.

But Edwards insists it's none of the above, as he explained why he does it, and crucially, what has to come next.
