Designer wants to sow seeds of inspiration

A STOCKTON designer's intricate creations will be on display in a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse. Beth Wilson Embroidery's studio is opening to the public to inspire the next generation of creatives.

The star of the show at the Open Studio event this Friday, December 5, will be the Love and Romance dress, which contains a staggering 1,195,200 stitches and 480 individually embroidered flowers from nine different species including 3D layered roses and fluffy Sweet Williams.
The floral-embroidered masterpiece merges couture elegance with modern digital embroidery to create an eye-catching timeless design.
"This was a real labour of love and is one of my proudest creations," explains artist and business owner Beth Wilson, who specialises in creative digital embroidery design for fashion and textiles.
