HUSBAND AND WIFE NOW POSTING THEIR BAKES AROUND THE COUNTRY

Cookie company couple mixes up sweet success

Mark and Victoria Bennett inside their shop and, left some of their cookies

ALMOST four years ago husband and wife duo Mark and Victoria Bennett decided to take the plunge and open their own cookie company.

From mixing cookie dough in a trailer on their driveway to their own bakery, the couple's business, Sip & Sugar Cookie Company, has continued to grow.

Now, alongside selling at markets like Newcastle's Quayside Sunday market and from their North Skelton bakery, the pair are delivering their delicious treats to customers around the country through the post.

Victoria, who goes by Tor, said she and Mark decided to go self-employed during the covid pandemic.

"First, it all just started from home and selling at Newcastle's Quayside Market. Then we moved into our own shop almost two years ago," said Victoria, 39.

"At first we had a food trailer on our driveway at home in Saltburn and then after around a year we needed somewhere bigger.
