Conway's form 'no cause for concern'
The Gazette
|November 29, 2025
KIM Hellberg has no concerns about Tommy Conway’s form, and revealed the level of depth his homework has gone into in preparation for starting at Middlesbrough and getting the attack firing.

The new boss's first priority will be trying to improve Boro’s attack, with their struggles in that area of the pitch costing them too many points of late.
Of their attacking players, only Morgan Whittaker is managing to find any kind of consistent goalscoring form, with Conway's struggles a particular worry.
The Boro number nine missed a sitter against Coventry City on Tuesday when the score was 2-2. It proved costly as the visitors scored two late goals to win 4-2.
Asked about Conway (pictured) and his reaction since that cruel evening, Hellberg said: “I think he's very good. He will score a lot of goals this season. So, I'm not worried about that. He had a very good session today [Thursday]. He looked sharp and he's working hard.
