A PEDESTRIAN has died in a crash on the A171 in Guisborough.

The man, in his 70s, lost his life in the collision near to The Cross Keys Inn, at Upsall, around 5.10pm on Wednesday.
The pensioner suffered a serious head injury in the crash involving a Nissan Qashqai and was pronounced dead at the scene. Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the man's family is being supported by specially trained officers from Cleveland Police.
