It is true that as you grow older, you learn to be wiser and more relaxed in dealing with life. This is a grace which I've learned well to let life's natural flow take its course.
At its core, this is the beauty in being mindful and having a deep appreciation for living in the present. I usually start my day thanking the Lord for all the blessings and protection that He has showered upon me, my children, and their families.
My prayer of gratitude to the Lord for all the wonderful and majestic things He has done gives me energy, enough to arm me with confidence and trust for my day.
In this vein, I'm reminded of a quote from stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius. It goes: "Whatever happens in life, it has already been written. It just waits for the time to make it happen."
With the wisdom of the quote, I can take on whatever challenge would be thrown on my path.
