So it would appear it’s no longer just the Chinese criminal syndicates who want to conduct their nefarious activities from Cebu.

According to a report in this newspaper, last Thursday operatives from the National Bureau of Investigation's Special Task Force and the NBI-Central Visayas Regional Office arrested 17 Taiwanese nationals in a subdivision in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.
The house they were in was allegedly being used as a POGO hub that specialized in love scam operations targeting mostly Taiwanese, Malaysians, and Chinese victims.
