Six fall in four drug buy-busts

A total of P3.4 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from six arrested suspects in four separate buy-bust operations in various areas in Cebu these past two days.

The latest operation was conducted yesterday in Barangay Taloot, Argao town, wherein two high-value individuals were nabbed after being seized with around P680,000 worth of illegal drugs.
The Argao Municipal Police Station identified the suspects as Heracleo Manayan, 43, and Romel Datanagan Albofera, 54. Both are residents in the said place.
During the operation at around 6:15 A.M., Manayan and Albofera were confiscated with at least 11 sachets containing 100 grams of suspected shabu and the buy-bust money.
Investigation revealed that Manayan, who is the primary subject, is allegedly involved in illegal drug activity as pusher and user. He is also said to be a member of a drug group in Argao.
