Moalboal parochial vicar holds farewell 3rd Fr. Francis Cup

Fr. Francis Manugas, the Parochial Vicar of San Juan Nepomuceno Parish in Moalboal, successfully staged the third edition of his annual Fr. Francis Cup, this time uniting the three tennis clubs in the bustling municipality.

Manugas, who will assume as the parish priest of Saint John the Baptist Parish in Sudlon, Cebu City next month, decided to hold the event as a farewell to the popular tourist town that has been his home for the past five years.
"I was lucky enough to have been accepted by the three tennis clubs and as a farewell, I wanted to hold a tournament for all of them," said Manugas.
However, luck deserted the amiable priest in Class B men's doubles as he and partner Engr. Noel Grengia, a new town councilor, bowed down to Darius Redoble and Jephone Gador in the final match.
