MCPO seeks CH help for command center

The Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) is seeking support from the city government for the enhancement of its command center and the construction of new police stations that comply with standards set by the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM).
MCPO Director Police Colonel Cirilo Acosta Jr., during a courtesy call with Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Jovito “Jonkie” Ouano on Monday, July 14, said they have requested equipment to technologically upgrade the command center.
“This is the intent of our Chief PNP and our Regional Director,” Acosta told reporters in an interview following the visit.
He said a more advanced command center would allow police to respond more quickly and efficiently to public safety needs in the city.
To support this, Acosta requested LED televisions, communication equipment, and other essential devices to improve command center operations.
“Very positive ang response from our good mayor but we will wait lang,” said Acosta.
As part of their long-term plans, Acosta said the MCPO is also seeking the construction of new police stations.
