The president has seen it fit to form a task force to investigate corruption in flood-control project dealings.

Called the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI), the ICI has the following members: retired Supreme Court associate Andres Reyes Jr. who will be chairman, and members former Department of Public Works and Highways secretary from 2010 to 2016 Rogelio Singson, certified public account Rossana Fajardo, and anti-graft crusader Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong who will serve as adviser.
Following the inclusion of names close to Malacañang in the alleged irregular dealings, President Marcos has assured that no one will interfere in the work of the ICI.
