Drug chemist, lab busted in raid

An alleged drug chemist believed to be the source of ecstasy and cocaine in multiple regions was arrested Monday afternoon, June 30, in a raid that also led to the discovery of a suspected drug laboratory inside a residential unit along D. Jakosalem Street, Barangay Zapatera.

The joint search warrant operation was carried out by the Police Regional Office Central Visayas (PRO-7), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas (PDEA-7), and the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).
Authorities said the raid was part of a hot pursuit linked to a buy-bust operation on June 28, which led to the suspect's arrest.
