DICT launches project CLICK to boost digital literacy
The Freeman
|May 05, 2025
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has launched a flagship initiative aimed at improving Internet literacy and computer knowledge in grassroots schools across the country.
ICT Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda introduced Project CLICK (Courses for Literacy in Internet and Computer Knowledge), emphasizing that digital access should be a fundamental right, not a privilege.
“Through Project CLICK, we're turning digital gaps into growth. With every device handed over, we move closer to a Philippines where no one is left offline. This is Digital Bayanihan in action: one click, one community, one future at a time," Aguda said.
Aguda also noted that the project supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to ensure that no Filipino is left offline.
