Members of the Dalaguete Municipal Council, led by Vice Mayor William Lagahid, are facing criminal and administrative complaints before the Office of the Ombudsman-Visayas for allegedly approving the construction of a warehouse on a private lot without the consent of the landowners.
The complaint was filed yesterday, May 7, 2025, by the heirs of Maria Zambrano, claiming that the municipal government, through the Office of the Mayor and Sangguniang Bayan, illegally funded and constructed a warehouse on their 3,939-square meter property in Barangay Ramon without any deed of sale, expropriation proceedings, or building permit.
