Comelec announces BSKE schedule of activities

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has released the schedule of activities for the 2025 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), even as the national and local elections have yet to conclude.

In a resolution promulgated on April 21, 2025, COMELEC unveiled Resolution 11132, which includes the calendar of activities and certain prohibitions in preparation for the 2025 BSKE.
The registration of voters will be updated in July and August.
The application period for voter registration for the barangay elections and membership in the Sangguniang Kabataan will run from July 1 to 11.
