Age Is Just a Number, It Doesn't Make You Old

There's practically no shortage of advertisements telling how one can maintain his/her youthful look.

From billboards to online ads, there's a plethora of them.

They say what they have to in different ways, but their message is clear: you don't have to look your age... you can look younger. This messaging in advertising crossed my mind while I was viewing a video posted by Garrain Jones in Facebook.

He said “I have a neighbor who is 103 years old, but she looks like she's in her early seventies. I asked her, how come you don't look old? How come you don't look your age?”

“Old? Age doesn't make you look old. It's when you let life beat you down. That's what makes you old,” she said.

“When you stay in a relationship that you don't want to be in bur remain there, that's what makes you old. When you don't like your job and still are there... that's what make you old.”
