Trump ends trade talks with Canada over advert

US President Donald Trump has announced an immediate end to all trade negotiations with Canada after an advert released by the Ontario government used former President Ronald Reagan's voice criticising tariffs.
Trump called the advert “FAKE” and “egregious”, writing on social media that “ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED.” He said the video was designed to “interfere with” the US Supreme Court’s upcoming decision on whether Washington's tariffs are legal, a ruling that could determine the fate of billions of dollars collected under his trade policies.
