Nestle India Q2 PAT falls 17% to ₹743 cr

Maggi, Nescafé and Kit Kat maker Nestle India on Thursday reported over 17.4% fall in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of FY25-26 at Rs 743.17 crore as against a net profit of Rs 899.5 crore recorded in the July-September quarter of FY24-25.

Speaking on the occasion, Nestlé India CMD Manish Tiwary said, “Domestic sales grew at a double-digit rate, led by volume growth. Three out of four product groups delivered strong volume led double-digit growth. Our domestic sales reached Rs 5,411 crore as against Rs 4,883.14 crore, the highest ever recorded in any quarter.

“The recent amendments in GST rates is a positive step for consumers. It is expected to stimulate consumption, drive affordability and contribute to the overall growth of the FMCG sector and the economy.”
