IndiGo has sought more time from the DGCA to submit a detailed explanation for the massive nationwide disruption, even as the regulator said it would take action "in due course".

According to the DGCA, IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers and the airline's chief operating officer have submitted their preliminary responses to the show-cause notices.
