SC raps WB judge over abdicated case

The Supreme Court has sharply criticized a trial court judge in Alipore, West Bengal, for refusing to proceed with a criminal case.
The judge had mistakenly declared that he had lost jurisdiction because the fourweek disposal deadline set by the apex court had lapsed.
