City exhibition celebrates Mumbai’s Art Deco legacy

Mumbai’ Art Deco heritage, among the largest in the world after Miami, is being celebrated through an exhibition titled From Marine Drive to Ocean Drive’, which opens on November 7. Organised by Art Deco Alive!, Art Deco Mumbai Trust, and Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum as knowledge partners and collaborators, the exhibition traces the evolution and endurance of Mumbais Art Deco style in its centenary year.

Curated by Atul Kumar, the display features multimedia, archival photographs, oral history accounts, and rare artefacts and furniture from private collections. The exhibition debuted in Miami before travelling to city.
