The Free Press Journal - Mumbai
|September 25, 2025
Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Chinta Mohan on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led central government, accusing it of failing to fulfill major promises over the past ll years and enriching the wealthy at the expense of the poor.
-
Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, Chinta Mohan highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assurances from 2014, including bringing back black money and depositing Rs 15 lakh in every household—promises that remain unfulfilled. He also questioned the government's claim of generating two crore jobs per year, totalling 22 crore jobs over 11 years. “How many jobs have actually been created? How many in Hyderabad?” he asked, underscoring repeated electoral pledges that BJP has failed to implement.
