Candidate alleges poll irregularities

Alleging serious irregularities in the voting process during the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) elections, candidate representative Prashant Sundar Kharat has submitted a memorandum to the District Collector and the Chief Election Officer.
The allegations pertain to Ward No. 29(A).
In the representation, Kharat stated that announcements were not made through loudspeakers at the polling station and that screens or display systems were absent. He alleged that the overall lack of transparency in the voting process had shaken the confidence of voters.
