AIKYAM festival marks United Nations’ anniversary

AIKYAM 2025, a three-day celebration of culture, heritage and tourism set amid the rock-cut caves of Ajanta and Ellora, concluded on Nov 23.

The festival was organised by Sopaan to mark the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and brought together cultural practitioners, historians, artists and diplomats from across the world.

Dignitaries from UNESCO, Maharashtra Tourism and the Municipal Corporation of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar joined diplomats from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, France, China, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Thailand, along with the country head of UNDP, for the event.
