As India targets net-zero and works to reduce logistics costs, future-ready infrastructure must be both green and performance-driven. For us, sustainability is how modern logistics will grow, endure, and lead.

- Anshul Singhal, Managing Director, Welspun One Logistics Parks

How do you look at the importance of sustainability in logistics and supply chain management? Sustainability today is central to how logistics and supply chains are planned, built, and operated. According to the IBEF-JLL study (2024), India's green warehousing stock is expected to quadruple to 260 million sq. ft. by 2030, driven by growing demand from ESG-conscious occupiers and evolving regulations. This clearly signals that sustainability is a key differentiator.

At Welspun One, sustainability is not an add-on; it's integral to how we conceptualise, design, and deliver our parks. From IGBC-certified designs and solar-ready rooftops to rainwater harvesting, water recycling systems, and EV infrastructure, we embed green thinking at every stage.

We're also enabling our tenants to meet their own ESG goals by offering them plug-and-play solutions that reduce carbon intensity and improve energy efficiency from day one. As India targets net-zero and works to reduce logistics costs, future-ready infrastructure must be both green and performance-driven. For us, sustainability is how modern logistics will grow, endure, and lead.

What are the key factors driving sustainable operations in warehousing and logistics sector?
