Court Rejects Anticipatory Bail of Ex-MLA Chhotu Vasava's Son in Murder Case

In a major development that has sent shockwaves through Gujarat's political circles, the court has rejected the anticipatory bail application of Dilip Vasava, son of former Jhagdia MLA Chhotu Vasava, in the sensational Shiali murder case.
The case revolves around the killing of the sarpanch's husband in Shiali village of Jhagdia taluka, who was crushed under the wheels of a truck on August 13.
Chhotu Vasava is the former chief of the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) and a heavy weight leader in the tribal belt of South Gujarat.
Initially treated as an accident, the incident took a grim turn when police investigations revealed it was a preplanned murder. Three accused were arrested, and their interrogation exposed Dilip Vasava's alleged involvement in the conspiracy.
