BRS slams RTC fare hike, demands immediate rollback

The opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has intensified its protest against the steep hike in bus fares by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC).

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR), along with senior party leaders met TSRTC Managing Director Y Naigi Reddy to submit a memorandum demanding an immediate withdrawal of the increased fares.KTR strongly urged the Congress government to scrap the hiked fares, which have placed a significant burden on the citizens.
