Borivali gets appealing eco-friendly landmark

Conveying the message of love for nature and motherhood, an eco-friendly sculpture, depicting a woman hugging a tree, was unveiled in Borivali on Sunday. Conceptualised by Shri Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, a group with an 80year-old tradition, and constructed through the MP LADS (Local Area Development Scheme) funds, the sculpture has come up at Shri Ganesh Mandir Chowk.

The unveiling was done during the inauguration of developmental works, including the beautified 'Green View' garden, at the hands of Union minister and north Mumbai MP Piyush Goyal in Borivali.
