In a strong display of unity ahead of the Belagavi winter session that is slated to commence from Dec 8 onawrds, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar declared that they have jointly decided to strictly follow the decisions and instructions of the Congress high command.
After the breakfast meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence Cauvery, addressing a joint press conference, Siddaramaiah affirmed that neither ministers nor MLAs are against the government and accused that any confusion had been “created by some media houses.”
He stated that the high command had instructed both leaders to clear misunderstandings before the session. “From tomorrow, there will be no confusion. Even now, there is no confusion. We will inform the high command about the agreement reached between us,” he said.
