AVP protests against liquor, force shops to close

Liquor shops throughout Alirajpur district remained closed on Wednesday following a vigorous campaign led by Madhya Pradesh Adivasi Vikas Parishad (AVP) state vice president Mahesh Patel on Tuesday.
The campaign aimed to ban alcohol sales and submitted a memorandum to tehsildar, demanding immediate action to shut down these establishments.
Patel announced that 10,000 sticks would be distributed to youth of tribal community, along with another 10,000 for women, to support their efforts in campaign.
