The Opposition Attack
The Daily Guardian
|July 30, 2025
The Opposition has come fully prepared this monsoon Session of Parliament and seems ready to take on the Government on various issues, from Operation Sindoor to the revision of the Bihar Voter IDs to Trump tariffs.
The drama of the Vice President's sudden and mysterious resignation is a bonus. And certainly the Opposition's attack led by Gaurav Gogoi and Deepender Hooda on the first day followed by the Gandhi siblings and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav on the second day is a strong one. However, what has dented it a bit is the absence of two speakers, Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tewari, from the Congress.
