SWIGGY, MINISTRY LAUNCH 'SWIGGY SKILLS' INITIATIVE

Minister of State for the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary, emphasised the importance of the logistics sector in achieving the Viksit Bharat 2047 goals.

In alignment with the Government's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has partnered with Swiggy to introduce the 'Swiggy Skills' initiative.
According to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to enhance skilling and employment prospects within Swiggy's food delivery and quick commerce network by offering a variety of opportunities in restaurant operations and retail management.
The 'Swiggy Skills initiative will integrate Swiggy's partner platform with the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), granting access to a range of online skill development courses, certifications, and training modules.
This collaboration is expected to benefit approximately 240,000 delivery partners and restaurant staff associated with Swiggy.
