Storm brewing as march by farmers stopped again

Shambhu Border, a focal point of farmers' agitation, on Sunday witnessed fresh confrontation when the police fired tear shells to stop protesting farmers when they attempted to cross multi-layered barricades to resume their 'Delhi Chalo' march.
The march, led by farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, was called off later in the day, with Pandher announcing that future steps would be decided in a meeting scheduled for Monday.
The farmers, demanding a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) and loan waivers, resumed their march two days after halting it as they failed to get a response from the Union Government to resume talks which were suspended on February 18.
