SKM to Stage Nationwide Tractor Rally on March 13 for MSP Guarantee Act

Farmers affiliated with the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), a coalition of over 40 farmers' unions, are preparing for a nationwide tractor march on March 13 to press the Central Government to fulfill long-pending demands—chief among them, the enactment of a Minimum Support Price (MSP) Guarantee Act.
The SKM had announced it will observe August 13 as 'Corporations Quit India Day', intensifying its call against corporate control over agriculture and the government's economic policies.
According to farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, the protests will be conducted peacefully at block, district, and state levels, allowing farmers to participate at their nearest locations.
