Purity of thought and action

Purity of Thought is a state of mental clarity, virtue and moral uprightness that can be achieved through spiritual practices.

Many spiritual traditions like Yoga, Puranas, Jainism, etc., have practiced this concept over the past few centuries.

Purity of Thought lays down the foundation of entertaining pure thoughts like pure behavior, conduct, food, and a pure life free from all sins and evils.

It focuses on the unity of society. In fact, purity emphasizes a kind of firmness in thoughts, acting thus as a bridge to success. Thought acts as a means to purify the human being as a whole. All the five senses like hearing, seeing, tasting, touching, and smelling bring purity in speech and action.

Purity of Thought enables the human mind to cultivate spiritual growth. It brings an awareness of sinful thoughts and cleanses the mind of them. Even corruption in thought can be avoided.

This purity of thought becomes at once the awareness of symbolic impurities such as sinful thoughts that exist in the human mind. Attaining purity is keeping aside all sinful actions. Purity of mind becomes the purity of thoughts. Thoughts build our consciousness and shape our attitude. As one thinks, so does one become.
