Police conduct searches in Poonch to enforce ban on 25 'secessionist' books

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday carried out searches at bookshops across Poonch district to enforce the Lieutenant Governor administration's recent ban on 25 books deemed to promote "false narratives and secessionism."
A police officer said the searches were conducted in compliance with the Home Department's directive ordering the forfeiture of the identified titles. The banned list includes works by noted authors such as Moulana Moudadi, Arund
