PM Modi to Visit Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on January 8-9

In a major push for sustainable development, industrial growth and infrastructure enhancement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs two Lakh Crore in Andhra Pradesh on January 8.

PM Modi will also inaugurate the 18th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) convention at Bhubaneswar, Odisha on January 9 at 10 AM.
In Andhra Pradesh, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the state-of-the-art NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project at Pudimadaka near Visakhapatnam, which is the first Green Hydrogen Hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
As per the release, the project entails an investment of approx. Rs 1,85,000 Crore. This will include investment in 20 GW renewable energy capacities, making it one of India's largest integrated green hydrogen production facilities with a capacity of producing 1500 TPD Green Hydrogen and 7500 TPD Green Hydrogen derivatives including Green Methanol, Green Urea and Sustainable Aviation Fuel, primarily targeting the export market.
