Over 20,600 booths set for October 5 Haryana polls

Ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections, state Chief Election Commissioner Pankaj Agrawal announced that over 2 crore voters are expected to cast their votes, with 20,629 polling booths set up.

Agrawal stated, “For the Haryana Assembly elections, voting is scheduled for October 5. The final publication of the voter list was completed on August 27, following the Election Commission’s instructions. Since the last date for filing nominations was September 12, we accepted voter amendment requests in Forms 6 and 8 up to September 2. After processing them, we finalised the list on September 12, confirming that a total of 2,03,54,350 voters will participate
