The next Vice President of the country is likely to be someone with RSS background.
The RSS may also have its say in the selection of the candidate. According to sources, BJP now does not want to take any risk of making an outsider the Vice President.
Discussions have started between BJP and RSS on names who are staunch Sangh workers and have been dedicated to the party.
BJP is doing this because earlier Satpal Malik, who has a non-RSS background, who was appointed LG of J&K had embarrassed the party. Now comes the Jagdeep Dhankhar saga.
