The Kedarnath Yatra has been suspended for three days following a red alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand from August 12 to 14.
District Magistrate Prateek Jain said the administration is on high alert, with security and disaster response teams deployed to safeguard pilgrims and locals. Residents near water bodies have been urged to move
