Haryana regularises 303 colonies, 10 lakh residents to benefit

In a landmark announcement ahead of the festive season, Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, declared the regularisation of 303 colonies across 14 districts. This initiative, backed by a Rs 3,000 crore allocation for infrastructure enhancement, will benefit over 10 lakh residents.

Spanning 5,000 acres, these colonies consist of 193 under 39 municipalities and 110 under the Town and Country Planning Department. Manohar Lal stated that the state's commitment to urban development is further evidenced by the attention given to utilities like sewer lines, water supply, roads, parks, and street lights in all 404 regularised colonies. The government plans to invest Rs 60 lakh per acre to elevate living standard
