Hardik Pandya returns as India announces T20I squad for SA series

The Senior Men's Selection Committee of the BCCI has announced India’s squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, beginning December 9 in Cuttack.
Suryakumar Yadav will captain the side, while all-rounder Hardik Pandya returns to the squad after missing India’s recent T20I series in Australia. Pandya will play his first international T20I since India’s Super Four fixture against Sri Lanka at the Asia Cup 2025. He had missed the Asia Cup final against Pakistan and the Australia white-ball tour due to injury but recently proved his fitness representing Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
