Farmers' nationwide protest on Nov 26

On the call of Samyukta Kisan Morcha workers and farmers across India will stage district-level protests on November 26, marking the fourth anniversary of the farmer-worker movement against the now-repealed farm laws and controversial labor codes.

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha and allied worker groups have called on citizens to reject the BJP-led government's pro-corporate policies, which they argue threaten the livelihoods of ordinary Indians. This large-scale protest is also a rallying call for upcoming Assembly elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and by-elections nationwide.
The SKM issued an appeal for people to stand against BJP's agenda, urging a decisive electoral rejection of policies they argue "polarize communities and divert focus from core issues of employment, income security, and agricultural welfare."
