The 14th edition of this prestigious event, organized by Messe Stuttgart India in collaboration with the India Didactics Association, was held from September 18 to 20 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), Delhi. With over 300 companies from around the globe showcasing cutting-edge technologies and products, the event displayed a wide array of solutions ranging from artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics to drones, educational supplies, lab equipment, and augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) systems.
The education industry worldwide is predicted to reach a value of $10 trillion within the next decade, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.5%. India's own education and skilling industry was projected to reach $313 billion by 2030, with the country contributing significantly to global educational advancements. Didac India 2024 aligned itself with these growth trends, presenting an opportunity for stakeholders in education and skilling to explore future-ready solutions.
The event served as a platform for both Indian and international companies to display their innovations, with exhibitors from over 20 countries participating. These companies showcased a diverse range of products and services, including education technology, AI, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, audio-visual equipment, robotics, lab infrastructure, AR, VR, and vocational training resources. Didac India 2024 aimed to elevate the Indian education and skills sector by offering a launchpad for new technologies, facilitating knowledge sharing, and fostering collaboration among industry leaders.
