Delhi CM Clears IHBAS Upgrade, Nod For New Building

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inspects IHBAS, finds gaps, orders urgent upgrades this year.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday carried out a surprise inspection of the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) in Dilshad Garden, where she voiced dissatisfaction over the prevailing infrastructure and services. She assured that significant improvements would be introduced within the current financial year to bridge existing gaps.

During the inspection, Gupta declared that the construction of a new building at IHBAS would commence soon. She further promised that essential medical and administrative shortcomings—such as the absence of MRI and CT scan machines—would be resolved on priority. The Chief Minister also met with patients and their families, listening directly to their complaints and concerns.
