Dallewal's health worsens a day after Mahapanchayat

After addressing the Kisan Mahapanchayat at Khanauri border, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal suffered a severe health setback.
Dallewal, who has been on the fast unto death for the past 41 days, reportedly felt dizzy and vomited due to a sudden drop in blood pressure after addressing the gathering on Saturday. He was carried back to his tent, and a medical team immediately attended to him. Former DIG Narinder Bhargav, who has been involved in backchannel talks with the farmer leader, rushed to the site along with a health department team on standby.
Doctors issued a medical bulletin stating that Dallewal's liver, kidneys, and lungs have been severely affected due to the prolonged hunger strike. Even if he ends his strike, they warned, there is a risk that his organs may not fully recover.
