Criminals like Bishnoi belong to no specific region: Haryana DGP

Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapoor, speaking on Monday, condemned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi while stressing that criminals involved in cases like the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique belong to no specific city or region. He assured the public that strict action would be taken against perpetrators, irrespective of location or background.

"Whether it is the Baba Siddique murder case or any other crime, criminals remain criminals. They do not belong to one city or place, and strict action will be taken against them," Kapoor said while addressing reporters in Panchkula.
The latest breakthrough came on Sunday when Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Bhagwant Singh, a key suspect, from Belapur in Navi Mumbai. Singh allegedly provided logistical support, including weapons and shelter, to the shooters. According to police sources, he was involved in smuggling firearms from Rajasthan to Mumbai, aiding in the execution of the killing.
